This policy explains what personal information Opulence Business Acquisition ("OBA", "we", "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Information you give us

• Website forms. When you register as a buyer, request a valuation, ask for details on a listing or send us a message, we collect what you enter, such as your name, email, phone number, the business you want to buy or sell, your buying criteria, and financial details you choose to share (for example a price range or available capital). If you choose to upload a document, such as proof of funds, we collect that too.
• Booking a consultation. When you book a call through our online scheduler, we receive your name, email, the time you picked and anything you add to the booking. Video calls are recorded and transcribed only when you agree, so our notes are accurate.
• Email. Messages and attachments you send us by email.
• Social media messages. When you message or comment on our Instagram, Facebook or TikTok accounts, we receive your name or handle, profile picture and what you send, through each platform's official tools.
• Marketplaces. Inquiries you send about our listings through business-for-sale marketplaces.
• Signed documents. Non-disclosure agreements and other documents you sign electronically with us.

Information from other sources

• Business contact details from public sources, such as business directories, public records and professional networks, so we can contact owners who may be interested in selling. You can ask us to stop at any time.

Information collected automatically

• Basic technical information when you visit our website, such as browser and device type, pages viewed and the site that referred you. Our website platform may use essential cookies to run the site. Our own visitor statistics are cookieless and do not identify you personally.

How we use it

• To answer your inquiries and provide our brokerage services, including valuations, matching buyers with listings, arranging calls and guiding a sale through closing.
• To share confidential listing information with buyers only after they sign a non-disclosure agreement.
• To send emails you asked for or that relate to your inquiry, such as follow-ups and new listings that match your criteria.
• To keep accurate records of our conversations and transactions.
• To run, secure and improve our website, and to meet our legal obligations.

Our social media accounts and publishing tool

We use an internal tool to schedule and publish posts to OBA's own social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube and Google Business Profile). When an OBA team member connects one of these accounts, the tool stores the access tokens the platform issues, the basic profile details of that account (name, handle and picture) and statistics about our own posts.

The tool is used only for OBA's own accounts. We do not use it to collect data about other people's accounts. Replies to messages are written or approved by an OBA team member.

We do not sell your information

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.

We share information only: - With service providers that help us run OBA, such as website hosting, email, scheduling and video calls, electronic signatures and secure storage. They may use it only to provide their services to us. - With the other side of a potential transaction, only as needed and with your knowledge (for example, sharing a buyer's qualifications with a seller). - When the law requires it, or to protect our rights and the safety of others. - With your permission.

Your email choices

Every marketing email we send, such as check-ins and new listing alerts, includes an Unsubscribe link. You can also reply "unsubscribe" or email info@obalegacy.com, and we will stop. We may still send messages about a transaction you are actively part of.

Keeping and deleting your information

We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires.

To have your information deleted, or to disconnect and delete data from a social media account connected to our publishing tool, email info@obalegacy.com with the subject "Data deletion request". We confirm within 30 days. You can also remove our app's access at any time in that platform's settings.

Security

We protect information with encrypted (HTTPS) connections, access limited to OBA team members who need it, and reputable service providers. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

Your California privacy rights

If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA) give you rights over your personal information, including the right to: - Know what personal information we collect, use and disclose, and get a copy of it. - Ask us to correct or delete it. - Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. - Be treated equally if you use any of these rights.

To make a request, email info@obalegacy.com. We will confirm your identity before acting on it and respond within 45 days. You may also use an authorized agent. We do not share personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing.

Do Not Track. Our website does not change its behavior in response to browser "Do Not Track" signals, and we do not track you across other websites.

Residents of other states with similar privacy laws can make the same requests the same way.

Children

Our website and services are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
